Grandfather parked himself beside our bunk bed and informed us of one of their adventures. He starts off by saying that there is a place in between many Spanish speaking countries identified as Belize. In spite of this, the public of Belize spoke the English language. In this country there is a rural community identified as Placencia, it is a peninsula and a lot of of the buildings there are stunning. You can drive, fly or go there by boat. There is a lagoon on one side and the fine-looking Caribbean Sea on the other side. The way to Placencia is extended and filled with curves, it was an stimulating drive.
He said that they had stayed at one of the most delightful Placencia Belize Resorts and the place had about 3 swimming pools. We all thought that this was astounding – three swimming pools! He informed us that he and grandmom had gone to the gym each morning and then played tennis together and later that morning had breakfast. After breakfast they calmed down and went to the spa and of course did a few tours.
According to Grandpa, Belize diving is the most excellent thing to do. But grandmom says that is his subjective judgement because in reality all the tours were astounding. Grandfather just went on and on about all the things he saw. Several species of sea existence: animal and plants; they had unique colors and shapes and moved in fascinating ways. I think they are moving because of the waves but Granddad says that below the sea is virtually still since the waves are on the surface of the water. I think I will put a trip like Grandfather’s on my wish list.
